This richly detailed peacock mini set exudes an exotic essence, steeped in color and versatility. In hues of peacock blues and greens with luscious accents, this contoured design can be either direct stitched or also stitched with a base application of Mylar, Angelina or Organza for even greater special effects! Also included in this set is the peacock done just as a redwork design.
In the sample below a turquois Mylar base was used with an Organza overlay to acheive the true iridescent coloring of a real peacock! The combination is truly stunning, opalescent just like sheen of an actual peacock. The photo just doesn't do it justice!

This design is equally stunning when sewn directly to your fabric, garment or project . The sheer contouring allows the base fabric to show through while allowing the details of the contouring to be highly visible.
Here is the redwork version done in a variegated thread. Next is the filled design using an organza base, no mylar and a variegated thread was use here as well for one of the thread colors.
This last photo shows the peacock facing right as an applique using a base fabric only , no Mylar or Organza.
Your file will contain both right and left facing versions of the applique and redwork versions of this design for a total of 4 files.
